1. Agreement
By using macbytestechnologies.com (the “Site”) or applying to the MacBytes Freelance Collective, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18+ and legally able to contract. You confirm that all information and ID proofs you submit are true and yours.
3. Services
Macbytes provides software, AI, cybersecurity, hardware, cloud, content and marketing services. Specific scope, timelines and pricing are agreed in a separate Statement of Work for each engagement.
4. Freelance Collective
- Selection is at our discretion based on skills, attitude and brand fit.
- Members operate as independent contractors, not employees.
- Members must follow client NDAs, deadlines and quality standards.
- The team works as one unit — individual brilliance matters less than reliable delivery.
5. Payment Policy
- Payouts are released only after the team delivers the project and the client formally accepts the work.
- If a project is dropped due to quality or conduct issues attributable to a member, that member’s payout for the affected milestone may be reduced or withheld.
- Macbytes deducts applicable taxes (TDS) and platform / operational fee (transparent and shared upfront per project) before payout.
- Standard payout cycle: within 7 working days of client payment clearance.
6. Intellectual Property
All work produced for a client engagement belongs to the client (or to Macbytes per the SOW) once full payment is received. Members may showcase work in portfolios only with written permission.
7. Confidentiality
Members and clients must keep all non-public information shared during engagement strictly confidential, both during and after the engagement.
8. Conduct
Harassment, plagiarism, deliverable fraud, side-channeling clients or any unethical behaviour leads to immediate removal from the Collective and may result in legal action.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the engagement with reasonable notice. Pending payouts for completed and accepted work are honoured.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Macbytes is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability is capped at the fees paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.
